Which leaves you with 0.1% of the purchases that may buy your product thinking "I will purchase an untrusted item for close to the oem price and hope they are being truthful about its quality". Or you can duplicate the OEM charger for a $90 sale price and try to appeal to the market of people who know there is a difference between shitty and good chargers.ĩ9% will not know a difference between all 3 and will buy the $10 one.Ġ.9% will know the difference and will be skeptical of your charger vs OEM which is only a few dollars more, air on the side of caution and pay the tiny difference to ensure quality. You can make a shitty charger for 10 bucks and sell it to everyone as exactly the same as the oem 100 dollar one. They can but the cost would be much closer to OEM and it would be a niche market that you would compete for. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
